Member-to-Member Liability Insurance Fee

As martial arts training involves controlled physical contact with training partners, there is always a possibility of accidental injury occurring during normal practice.

To help protect our members, Studio Martial Arts requires all participants to have member-to-member liability insurance. This insurance is provided through Insure4Sport and helps cover legal liability in the unlikely event that one member accidentally causes injury to another member during supervised training activities such as drilling, sparring, or positional practice.

The insurance fee contributes towards the cost of providing this protection for all members training at the academy. This helps ensure that everyone can train in a structured and responsible environment where appropriate safeguards are in place.

This cover relates specifically to legal liability between participants and does not replace personal accident or health insurance. Members may choose to arrange additional personal cover if they would like protection for their own injuries, loss of earnings, or time away from work.

Maintaining appropriate insurance is standard practice within contact sports and helps support the safe operation of classes for all participants.
